Simple Transfer stands out for its commitment to privacy as it bypasses external servers and does not store files externally. The app provides a secure platform that can only be accessed by computers directly connected to your local WiFi network. In terms of limitations, Simple Transfer offers a Trial mode where users can download up to 10 items without any restrictions. Upon expiry of the trial mode, the app switches to Free mode, which allows transferring only the oldest 50 items from each album. Additionally, some premium features, such as Photo Cleaner and exporting to JPG or MOV/MP4 (H.264), are not accessible in the free mode. Users can remove these limitations by upgrading to the Premium version through an in-app purchase.
